Garment Care. All garments are machine washable and tumble dry. The fabrics that are used to construct our products are chosen based on both their ease of care and their properties for strength in wear.

Manufacturers Code of Conduct. With all products manufactured in Canada we have the ability to audit these facilities at will. In doing this we can ensure that they are adhering to all WSIB guidelines ensuring workers are in a healthy and safe environment. Over the years, our factories have been audited and have received the approval by Cleo, Roots and Reebok. The most recent Reebok Audit took place in 2008.

We maintain a Health and Safety Committee that is charged with acting as a 3rd party to audit our facilities. Along with this, we have passed several WSIB audits over the past few years.

Our quality control representatives are in the associate factories that we work with weekly and they are able to monitor the conditions to make sure that they adhere to the same standard that we do in our own facility.

We have sat on many Industry Boards and Advisory Committees with regards to working conditions and fair labour practices, most recently we sat on Women’s Labour Advisory Board.

Quality Control. . Being a domestic producer we are able to control every step of the production process much more easily than we would if we were manufacturing elsewhere. We have been working with the same knitter and dye-house for many years and they understand the high quality standard that we have set. We are able to not only approve a lab-match for every order that we produce, but we are also able to approve the bulk fabric prior to production.

Patterns are all made using an automated grading system, once these have been approved the marker and the cutting is also completed using an automated system to ensure the accuracy of the sizing. We have been able to adapt strict production standards that our private label clients follow to ensure that we are producing to the highest level of satisfaction.
